Chamber aligns with community and regional partners to ensure best possible economic environment

Areas of specific interest include:
• Increased focus on the value of regional collaboration by way of the Southern Colorado Business Partnership
• Engagement at the state level by participation in the Colorado Work Force Development Council
• A bottom up approach to aligning business, education, economic development and work force
During the legislative session the Chamber is in Denver representing the community’s interests. The Chamber’s Political Action Committee is interviewing candidates for elected office with an eye toward ensuring the best possible person-job match.

The area’s military and defense industry base is top of mind; the Chamber is vigilant from the federal level down to sustain and grow this important component of the community and State. The Chamber’s Military Affairs Council and Defense Mission Task Force are on the point of the spear on the community’s behalf.

The Chamber’s Rising Professionals, 250 strong, continues to provide mentorship, civic engagement, professional development and networking for its future leaders.
