Data StorageColorado is one of the three most prominent states in the data storage industry.  All along the Front Range in Colorado are data storage research and development facilities with thousands of employees.  Colorado Springs is one of the hot centers in the industry with the presence of such data storage giants as Federal Express, Hewlett- Packard, LSI, EMC, and Quantum.

Colorado Springs is also noted as the #7 city in America for data centers by Information Week magazine.  Colorado Springs is a secure setting with no natural disasters, plentiful telecommunications infrastructure, low cost electricity, and a talented workforce.

Data security is also very prominent in Colorado Springs with many sensitive homeland security and defense assets in the community, such as NORTHCOM, NORAD and the United States Air Force Academy.  The Academy offers courses in data security, as does the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
