Colorado Springs Earns Recognition

One Stop Decision Making
Saves Time and Money
A recent EDC prospect says a distinct advantage for Colorado Springs in winning and keeping new jobs and investment is the ability of local government to make decisions quickly. Land use and utility decisions in Colorado Springs are made without the burden of the extra time and uncertainty associated with review by multiple independent organizations, as is required in many other cities. In most cases, all key project decisions rest with a single city entity. Time is money, so the ability to respond quickly provides companies wishing to relocate or expand in Colorado Springs a competitive edge.
